Preview: Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles vs. St. Georges Tech Hawks
Hodgson Vo-Tech is 2-8 against St. Georges Tech since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles are on the road again and plays the St. Georges Tech Hawks at 5:15 p.m. on February 12th. Hodgson Vo-Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Delaware Rankings (they are ranked 47th, while St. Georges Tech is ranked tenth).
Last Wednesday, Hodgson Vo-Tech had to suffer through a rough 64-33 loss at the hands of Glasgow. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hodgson Vo-Tech has scored all season.
Meanwhile, St. Georges Tech entered their tilt with Caravel with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. St. Georges Tech came out on top against Caravel by a score of 58-49 on Thursday.
Hodgson Vo-Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for St. Georges Tech, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Hodgson Vo-Tech came up short against St. Georges Tech when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 56-47. Can Hodgson Vo-Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
