Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Prep). They never let the University Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on five straight.
Emma Hartung was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Noor Asfoor was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Trinity Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive games.
Trinity Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for University, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will take on Geneva at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
