Football Game Preview: King's Academy vs. Dillon Christian

Dillon Christian will look to defend their home turf on Friday against King's Academy at 7:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

There's no need to mince words: Dillon Christian lost to Trinity-Byrnes last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-49. Dillon Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from sophomore Trent Johnson, who rushed for 40 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-36, which was the final score in King's Academy's tilt against Lee Academy.

Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
