Basketball Game Preview: Wellington Crusaders vs. Rose Hill Rockets

The Wellington Crusaders will square off against the Rose Hill Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wellington came up short against Andale back in December of 2024, falling 61-37. The game marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Rose Hill narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past West Elk 48-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Zander Ford and Maddex Moreno. Ford had a solid game on Friday and went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Meanwhile, Moreno did his best for the losing side, going 5 of 11 on his way to 19 points.

Rose Hill's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wellington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
