Soccer Recap: Angola Comes Up Short on the Road Against Woodlan

Angola kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Woodlan Warriors by a score of 3-2. Angola were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Woodlan apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Kai Wagner and Nick Hersel scored both of Angola's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Angola will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Westview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Angola their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Woodlan, they will take on Norwell at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
