Basketball Recap: Wallace-Rose Hill Falls Despite Big Games from Madison Francis and Jansley Page + How To Watch

Wallace-Rose Hill had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it six. They received a blow as they fell 60-43 to the Clinton Dark Horses. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Dark Horses from their previous meeting back in February.

Despite the defeat, Wallace-Rose Hill had strong showings from Jansley Page, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards, and Madison Francis, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Smith, who posted 13 points and four steals.

As for Clinton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 66.7 points this season.

Ciara Stuart was a one-woman wrecking crew as she put up 16 points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Rubi Davila was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven steals.

Coming up, Wallace-Rose Hill will venture away from home to challenge Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will welcome Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
