Camas is a perfect 9-0 against Battle Ground since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. It was another big night for Tyson Ruggiero, who rushed for 52 yards and two scores, and also threw for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight passes. Julian Vargas Govea was another key player, rushing for 73 yards and one TD.

They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-24 heartbreaker at the hands of WF West. While the Tigers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bearcats 10-0.
Battle Ground's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Camas, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Camas against Battle Ground in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 63-7 win. In that contest, the Papermakers amassed a halftime lead of 36-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
