Overton hadn't done well against White Station recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Overton Wolverines took down the White Station Spartans 50-36. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Spartans back in January, they had to take a 50-46 loss.

Overton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kierra Baldwin, who went 5-for-12 en route to 19 points and five steals. What's more, Baldwin also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Torri Jones, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

White Station's loss came despite strong showings from Amare Boothe and Lily Pruitt. Boothe scored 13 points and five boards, while Pruitt had five points and three steals.

Overton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for White Station, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
