Basketball Recap: Field's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Streetsboro, Field was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 70-65 W over the Garfield G-Men. Considering the Falcons' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Despite the loss, Garfield still got an impressive performance from Oliver Walker, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Parker Gill, who posted 12 points and six boards.

The victory snapped Field's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record. As for Garfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Field will take on Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garfield, they will face off against Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
