Recap: Roger Bacon Spartans vs. Taylor Yellowjackets
The Roger Bacon Spartans were the 52-22 winner over the Taylor Yellowjackets when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Roger Bacon fell to Taylor 39-35.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gussie Hoffman, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Ernst, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Roger Bacon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Taylor, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Roger Bacon will head out on the road to square off against Bishop Hartley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taylor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mariemont at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
