Basketball Game Preview: Jubilee Brownsville Titans vs. Port Isabel Tarpons

Jubilee Brownsville is 1-8 against Port Isabel since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jubilee Brownsville Titans will look to defend their home court against the Port Isabel Tarpons at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Jubilee Brownsville lost to La Feria on the road by a 56-41 margin. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Port Isabel's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Hidalgo.

Jubilee Brownsville's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Port Isabel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.
