Gardiner is a perfect 10-0 against Lincoln Academy since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Gardiner is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 30th on Wednesday. They came up short against Morse, falling 15-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Lincoln Academy came out on top against Erskine Academy by a score of 8-4. Lincoln Academy hasn't had any issues with Erskine Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

O Ball made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Ball was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those doubles were her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on B Coffin, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. L LaBrie was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.

Lincoln Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Lincoln Academy's record now sits at 4-6. As for Gardiner, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Gardiner took their victory against Lincoln Academy in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
