Football Game Preview: Riverton Wolverines vs. Buffalo Bison + How To Watch

The Riverton Wolverines will face off against the Buffalo Bison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Riverton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Douglas, who was ranked sixth at the time (Riverton was ranked fifth). The Wolverines blew past the Bearcats 28-0 on Friday. Considering the Wolverines have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buffalo). They blew past Rawlins, posting a 61-0 victory. The Bison have beaten the Outlaws the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Outlaws has come to flipping the script.

Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Riverton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Riverton barely slipped by Buffalo in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 16-15. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Bison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
