Volleyball Recap: Ellie Ruth Blue Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat East Coweta + How To Watch

Norcross won the last time they faced East Coweta and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

Norcross never let East Coweta on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norcross to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ellie Ruth Blue, who had 23 assists. Blue has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 52 times she's played. Dakota Washington was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

Norcross has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for East Coweta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Norcross and East Coweta will both be playing Mill Creek the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
