Recap: Dacula Falcons vs. Mill Creek Hawks
The Dacula Falcons''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Mill Creek 41-0. The game was a close 3-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Dacula it sure didn't stay that way.
Cameron Robinson was a one-man wrecking crew for Mill Creek as he rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Daniel Smith was another key contributor, rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Dacula's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-1 Buford (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 77.8% over those games). As for Mill Creek, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Dacula will head out on the road to face off against Collins Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Collins Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dacula in Georgia (Collins Hill is ranked 66th, while Dacula is ranked 207th). As for Mill Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m.
