Basketball Recap: Vincennes Rivet Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dugger Union last Saturday, Vincennes Rivet came back down to earth. The Vincennes Rivet Patriots were dealt a 65-38 defeat at the hands of the Wood Memorial Trojans on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Vincennes Rivet's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Wood Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Vincennes Rivet will face off against Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Vincennes Rivet is facing Shoals at the right time seeing as Shoals is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wood Memorial, they will square off against Evansville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
