Basketball Recap: Deer Park Comes Up Short

Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pullman Greyhounds, falling 55-33. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 74th).

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pullman, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Park will host East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pullman, they will face off against West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Valley comes in on four and Pullman on three.
