West Jordan has gone 6-1 against Hunter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. West Jordan will be playing at home against Hunter at 3:30 p.m. West Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

West Jordan is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since April 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Grantsville by a score of 8-6.

Tyson Ashworth was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ashworth was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Ashworth wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Wood, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Cody Johnson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Hunter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Timpview, falling 17-0.

Hunter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything went West Jordan's way against Hunter in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as West Jordan made off with a 10-4 victory. Does West Jordan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hunter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
