If Blacksburg was riding high fresh off their 42-13 takedown of Christiansburg back in October, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins came up short against the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday, falling 35-14. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.

Easton Holt threw for 123 yards and one TD while completing 87.5% of his passes. Doug Howard was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Luke Mann rushed for 87 yards and one score.

Blacksburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Patrick Henry, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
