Pamlico County came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Southside, but Josh Armstrong wouldn't allow it. The Southside Seahawks took down the Pamlico County Hurricanes 58-39 on Thursday thanks to Armstrong, who went 9-for-15 on his way to 22 points along with five boards and five steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Satchell, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. He is becoming a predictor of Southside's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 4-1 (and 4-13 when he doesn't).

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southside, bringing their record for this year to 8-14. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Pamlico County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.

As of now, neither Southside nor Pamlico County have any future games scheduled.
