Volleyball Recap: St. Teresa Bulldogs vs. Central A & M Raiders
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Teresa had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Central A & M Raiders by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.
St. Teresa easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.
Avery Harrison paced St. Teresa's offense, picking up 11 kills. Harrison got some help from
Elia Smith and her 19 assists.
St. Teresa moved to 8-27 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Central A & M, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season.
St. Teresa is on the road again on Wednesday to play Hartsburg-Emden at 6:00 p.m. Central A & M does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
