Volleyball Recap: Millard's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

The Millard Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Uintah Utes on Friday and fell 3-2. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Millard took Uintah into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 15-9.

Abbie Davis had an outrageously good game for Uintah as she had 40 assists and four digs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Millard fell to 3-1. As for Uintah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Millard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Richfield on the 15th. As for Uintah, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against North Sevier on the 15th.
