Basketball Recap: Southview Christian Comes Up Short

Southview Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Victory Christian Academy Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Conquerors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-37 back in November of 2024.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Coby Glaze led the charge by putting up 14 points. Orlando Little was another key player, earning 16 points.

Southview Christian's record is now 0-9. As for Victory Christian Academy, their record now sits at 4-7.

Southview Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against The Fletcher School at 6:30 p.m.
