Basketball Recap: Central Montcalm Takes a Loss

Central Montcalm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-21 loss at the hands of the Greenville Yellow Jackets. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Central Montcalm's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Greenville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Central Montcalm will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Michigan Aviation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. As for Greenville, they will head out to take on Kent City at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Greenville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
