Basketball Recap: Rossville Christian Academy Beats Heritage Academy for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Rossville Christian Academy had won eight straight games and Fred Motley did his part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Rossville Christian Academy Wolves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heritage Academy Patriots, sneaking past 80-78 thanks in part to Motley, who went 13 of 27 on his way to 37 points and eight rebounds. The match was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

Rossville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.5% in those games and 22.3% outside of them. As for Heritage Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-5.
