Football Game Preview: Temple Christian Eagles vs. Coram Deo Academy Lions

The Temple Christian Eagles will take on the Coram Deo Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Temple Christian has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 12 straight defeats, while Coram Deo Academy will come in with five straight wins.

Temple Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 46 points on October 10th, they were much more limited against Westlake Academy on Friday. They were outmatched by the Blacksmiths and fell 53-8. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1050th, while the Blacksmiths are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, while Coram Deo Academy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Trinity. The Lions blew past the Chargers 53-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Coram Deo Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Temple Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
