Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hitchcock County). They claimed a resounding 74-42 win over the Wallace Wildcats. The Falcons have beaten the Wildcats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Hitchcock County was led to victory by Madysen Carlson and Raegan Hagan. Carlson almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Hagan on her way to 21 points and three steals. What's more, Hagan also posted a 70% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaiah Johnson, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and six steals.

Hitchcock County's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Wallace, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hitchcock County beat Wallace by a score of 48-33 on Thursday.
