Football Recap: Live Oak Starts Season with Victory at Home

Live Oak gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Hillsdale Fighting Knights 43-8.

Live Oak was led to victory by Gage Jones and Adrian Leal. Jones rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, while Leal rushed for 87 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 187 rushing yards gave Jones a new career-high.
