Baseball Recap: Morristown-Beard Comes Up Short

Morristown-Beard entered their match against Morris Hills on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Crimson came up short against the Knights, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Crimson were not able to get on the board.

Morristown-Beard saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ari Shiffman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Shiffman's first of the season.

Morristown-Beard suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-3. As for Morris Hills, their record now sits at 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown-Beard will host Parsippany Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Morris Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
