            The Bonita Bearcats will take on the Arcadia Apaches at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Bonita 3.3, Arcadia 2.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Bonita took a six-run  loss the last time they faced off against Ayala, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bearcats narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Bulldogs  5-3. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bearcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Adam Raab looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Carlos Arredondo was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March.  Dominic Garcia was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
Meanwhile,  Arcadia unfortunately witnessed the end of their  11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of La Mirada by a score of  7-5.
 Arcadia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Matt Manzo, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Bonita's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-3.
