Baseball Recap: Santa Rita Takes a Loss

Santa Rita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Fort Thomas Apaches.

Santa Rita saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pablo Suarez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Santa Rita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Thomas, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Santa Rita is facing Desert Christian at the right time seeing as Desert Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fort Thomas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Carlos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Carlos has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19 runs per game on average), something Fort Thomas will no doubt try to take advantage of.
