There's no place like home for Brookland-Cayce, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Their defense stepped up to hand the Crestwood Knights a 3-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for Brookland-Cayce, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Crestwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jennifer Cortez, Layne Powers, and Lydia Buhl.

Brookland-Cayce's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10. As for Crestwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coming up, Brookland-Cayce will square off against Gray Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
