Football Preview: Basehor-Linwood Bobcats vs. West Chargers
The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats will venture away from home to take on the West Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Basehor-Linwood has four straight victories, West has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Basehor-Linwood's defense and their eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Christian Locke and Garrett Pierce, who racked up 4.5 sacks between them. Pierce also set a new season high mark in total tackles with 16. Jacob Sharp was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for West's offense. They had to suffer through a 63-0 loss at the hands of Lansing.
Basehor-Linwood pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
