Basketball Recap: Countryside Academy Comes Up Short

Countryside Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-26 loss at the hands of the River Valley Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 56-33 loss on February 7th.

Countryside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for River Valley, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Countryside Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Valley, they will take on New Buffalo in a tournament on Wednesday. New Buffalo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
