Plainfield North has gone a perfect 4-0 against Batavia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Plainfield North and six for Batavia dating back to last season.

Plainfield North came up short against Downers Grove South on Tuesday, falling 9-2.

Meanwhile, Batavia lost 14-2 to Waubonsie Valley two weeks ago.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Plainfield North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Plainfield North's way against Batavia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Plainfield North made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
