Soccer Recap: Cape Fear's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

There was early excitement for Cape Fear after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Sanderson Spartans by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Cape Fear's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cape Fear fell to 2-1. As for Sanderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear will challenge St. Pauls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sanderson, they will face off against Knightdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
