Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Takes a Loss

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Berthoud Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mountain Range of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Anthony Escalera, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Berthoud, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Mountain Range will face off against Poudre at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berthoud, they will take on Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
