There's no place like home for Helix, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Granite Hills Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Highlanders have posted since October 14, 2024.

Helix wouldn't go down easily and took Granite Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 14-25, 15-8.

Helix has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. As for Granite Hills, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-12.

Coming up, Helix will host Valhalla at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders are facing the Norsemen at the right time seeing as the Norsemen are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Granite Hills, they are taking a road trip to challenge Santana at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
