Softball Recap: Bowie Bulldogs vs. Georgetown Eagles
If Bowie was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Austin last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell 11-8 to the Georgetown Eagles on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Cadie Hays and Alyssa Lusk did some serious damage despite the final result: Hays went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Lusk went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Lusk has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Josie Busceme was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
