Gulfport entered their tilt with Ocean Springs on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Greyhounds 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Admirals: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in March, they had to take a 8-5 loss.

Gulfport's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.2 runs across that stretch. As for Ocean Springs, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gulfport beat the Greyhounds by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday.
