Softball Recap: Port Aransas Takes a Loss

Port Aransas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Port Aransas' loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Skidmore-Tynan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Port Aransas will take on rival Kenedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Skidmore-Tynan is set to square off against their familiar foe Refugio at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
