Wayne Valley wins going away against Passaic Valley

The Wayne Valley Indians had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Passaic Valley on Tuesday as Wayne Valley made off with a 74-51 win. That looming 74-51 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wayne Valley yet this season.
Wayne Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Omar Ali, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Ali's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Anthony Apicella was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Wayne Valley back to even at 4-4. As for Passaic Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Wayne Valley will head out on the road to face off against Lakeland Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lakeland Regional focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday. As for Passaic Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against West Milford at 4:00 p.m. West Milford is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
