Basketball Recap: Basha's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Basha walked away with it. They took down the Williams Field Black Hawks 46-32 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Basha got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amira Reynolds out in front who posted 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrais-Joi Coleman, who earned 12 points along with five boards and three steals.

Basha smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.

Basha's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Williams Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-6.

Looking ahead, Basha will take on Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Basha is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season. Williams Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
