Spruce Creek proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Seabreeze Sandcrabs 5-4. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Sandcrabs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Morgan Corder made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other pitching news, Evan Dyett tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Justin Cronin was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2025.

Spruce Creek's record is now 19-3. As for Seabreeze, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Spruce Creek will take on University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seabreeze, they will head out on the road to face off against DeLand at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
