Volleyball Recap: Herbert Hoover Victorious

The Herbert Hoover Huskies were able to grind out a solid victory over the Weir Red Riders on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Ahaziah Smith paced Herbert Hoover's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Lilli Lancaster and her ten assists. Lancaster was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Herbert Hoover now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Weir, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Herbert Hoover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bridgeport on the 23rd. As for Weir, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Madonna on the 23rd.
