Bethel Christian Academy will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against Jones  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bethel Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14  runs per game  this season.
Bethel Christian Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 30  runs  on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Wilson Christian Academy  on Thursday. They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers.
 Bethel Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bailey Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Jones got the win against Liberty Christian Academy  on Thursday by a conclusive  11-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Heat recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 Payten Plyler made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Kynlee Whaley was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.  Makenzie Maines was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jones,  the  win also got them back to even at 2-2.
Friday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bethel Christian Academy has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .616. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .484. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Bethel Christian Academy's way against Jones in their previous matchup  last Monday, as Bethel Christian Academy made off with  a  20-7 victory. Will Bethel Christian Academy repeat their success,  or does  Jones have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
