Soccer Game Preview: Pine Tree vs. Spring Hill

The Pine Tree Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Spring Hill Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pine Tree managed to keep up with Kilgore until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Pine Tree lost 4-0 to Kilgore. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spring Hill faced off against Henderson on Friday. Spring Hill fell just short of Henderson by a score of 5-4.

The loss snapped Pine Tree's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those five contests. As for Spring Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
