Basketball Game Preview: York Prep Patriots vs. Lake Norman Christian Lions

The York Prep Patriots and the Lake Norman Christian Lions will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. York Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

York Prep is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing North Central: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went York Prep's way against North Central on Friday as York Prep made off with a 40-20 victory. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Knights are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lake Norman Christian suffered their biggest loss since February 8th on Friday. They were outmatched by Victory Christian Center and fell 76-49. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Kings: they've now lost six in a row.

York Prep's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Lake Norman Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
