Baseball Preview: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Brush Arcs
Chardon is 9-1 against Brush since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arcs at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Chardon's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Brush has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Chardon let Mayfield stack four runs on them in the first inning on Wednesday but luckily Chardon prevailed anyway. The Hilltoppers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Wildcats. That's two games straight that the Hilltoppers have won by just one run.
