Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Alexa Traynham and Sanye Miller Lead Berry to Victory + How To Watch

Berry's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Rocky River Ravens 3-0. The Cardinals were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Ravens, so the Cardinals were just returning the favor.

While Berry won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 26-24.

Leading Berry to victory were Sanye Miller and Alexa Traynham. Miller had eight aces and five assists, while Traynham had five aces and one assist. That's the most assists Miller has posted since back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Berry was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Berry's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Rocky River, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Berry and West Cabarrus will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocky River, they will head out to face off against Garinger at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
